SpanTran Evaluation of Diploma

SpanTran, a member of NACES, offers six types of evaluations of benchmark educational and/or professional credentials. Our credential evaluation services include:

General Evaluation

The General Analysis (simple equivalency) identifies the benchmark credentials under analysis. It provides a statement of equivalency to U.S. education independent of the standing of the credential in the source country. This is the only evaluation of foreign credentials that does not contain an evaluation of individual courses, grades, and GPA.

Course Evaluation

The Course Analysis builds on the general evaluation of credentials by providing a statement of equivalency to U.S. education with course analysis. It lists subjects in transcript order, with grades and credits expressed in their corresponding equivalency to the U.S. educational system, and resulting GPA. It is available for secondary and post-secondary education.

Divisional Course Evaluation

The Divisional Course Analysis builds on the course analysis evaluation of foreign credentials by providing a statement of equivalency to U.S. education with a more rigorous course analysis section. It contains course analysis listing subjects in transcript order including grades, credits and GPA expressed in their corresponding equivalency to the U.S. educational system. It also shows lower and upper-division, and graduate level designations. This evaluation of credentials is available only for post-secondary education.

Nursing Course Evaluation

The Nursing Course Analysis is a specialized evaluation that is useful for those seeking admission to ADB-BSN programs. It provides course analysis which indicates lower and upper division, and graduate level designations as well as a listing of clinical experience by hours, days or weeks, according to the information supplied.

Engineering Course Evaluation

The Engineering Course Analysis is a specialized education evaluation that is for the purpose of applying to State Boards of Engineering. It includes course analysis which indicates lower and upper division and graduate level designations, course groupings by subjects, and analysis to determine that the overall course of study meets the ABET criteria. This evaluation is then reviewed by a university-level engineering professor who confirms the analysis and provides a letter attesting to the evaluation.

Teacher’s Course Evaluation

The Teacher’s Course Analysis is a specialized credential evaluation service that is generally required for those seeking teacher certification. It provides a course analysis which indicates lower and upper division, and graduate level designations while also grouping subjects by category.
